Royston Club Series are open to members of any BMX club – registration is via the BC Website – no “On the day registration.”
If, having registered, you find you are unable to attend please try to lets us know.

The club now runs two race series during the year which are ideal for new members to “learn the ropes” and more experienced members to hone their skills and keep their fitness up. Both series are run using a similar format to regional and national series so riders and parents can quickly get an understanding of how BMX races and events are run.

The Summer Series Racing

Riders Ready!
starts in April/May through to August/September and is held on alternate Tuesday evenings – the usual format is:
Compete in 6 rounds for a Series award.
Best 8 results count to riders standing.

Check In for Tuesday events opens 6.00pm to 6.45pm.
Racing starts no later than 7.00pm until about 8.30pm
The Winter Series Racing
starts in October through to February on a Saturday – the usual format is:
Compete in 4 rounds for a Series award.
Best 4 results count to riders standing.
Check In opens 2.00pm to 2.30pm.
Racing starts 2.45pm until about 4.00pm

The classes for both series are
7 and Under
8-9yr
10-11yr
12 – 13yr
14 – 16yr
17+yr
Cruiser / MTB
Race age is based on the year in which the Series finishes – Year of last round minus year of birth = Race Age
Classes may be merged to provide better competition for riders – administrators decision is final!
Experienced riders may move up one class but once a class is chosen there is no going back.
Since the classes are for Male and Female riders together, the Female riders can elect to ride down one class – again, once a class is chosen there is no going back
