The Royston BMX Club was formed almost 40 years ago to promote the sport of BMX Racing. Over the years, the Club has attracted members from across the region and is widely recognised as one of the friendliest clubs in the country.
All new members have to go through an induction process with one of the coaches before they join – these are held every few weeks and are aimed at making sure the rider is safe around the track – for themselves and others.

Registration for Rounds 3 and 4 of the club winter series on November 7th and 14th is now open on the British Cycling website – Click Here. Please remember registration closes at 11.30pm on Friday before each event and is only pen to club members due to covid restrictions – no on day registration.

The first round of the Rockets Winter Race race on October 3rd is now open on the British Cycling Event registration system. The event is only open to club members and via British Cycling’s on line registration process. Entry closes at 11.30pm on Friday before the race – no On The Day entry allowed. Check

Following a successful return to practice and coaching sessions, the club is now gearing up for the return of club racing on Sept.12th. Whist still under COVID19 regulations all club coaching and racing activities are still limited to members only – coaching is by invitation and racing is pre-registered only via the British Cycling website
Whilst the COVID19 restrictions are still having a major impact on our club activities there is a chink of light and following approval from British Cycling and North Herts District Council the club is now able to offer so early stages of return to normality.
