We have reviewed the track condition and weather forecasts and decided the risk of snow on berms and a rock hard track are too great to allow tonight’s (Feb 27th) floodlit session to go ahead safely. The final round of the club series on Saturday is also under threat and will be reviewed on Thursday
Winter Series Round 4 lived up to the name – cold and drizzle – but once again almost 50 riders turned out today. Standings are published on the “Results” page. It was a true Winter Series Race today as the cold weather was getting to everyone – but the rider count was the highest of the Series so far to give some really close racing. Rider Standings after round 3 are now publishe on the “Results”page.
The last club race for 2017 takes place on Saturday 2nd December – registration 12.30 to 1.30 racing from 2.00pm – earlier if weather is bad. The forecast is not too bad so we do not expect any problems on the day. The club AGM is being held at the Coombes Community Centre on December
The Winter Series Standings after round 2 last Saturday are now available – the rain in the morning did not stop the racing and the track rode as well as ever – many thanks to all the parents that took a role around the track to make the event another success for the club. Flood
